This map is an example of a classed choropleth map. This map uses different classes to allow the viewer to see difference in values around a certain area. The above map shows the percentage of persons who are Hispanic or Latino in the state of Florida. The viewer can see that a high percentage of Hispanics or Latinos live in south Florida near Miami.
