UNIVARIATE CHOROPLETH MAP

An univariate chloropleth map is used to analyze one variable. It uses standard classification methods, but is not quite as detailed. The above map shows the infant mortality rate of England. The viewer can see that London has a low infant mortality rate, and the further from the city, the higher the infant mortality rate increases.
