HYPSOMETRIC MAP

This is a hypsometric map that shows the island of Sulawesi, near Indonesia. Hypsometric maps represent different elevations through the use of shading. From looking at this map, one can see that Sulawesi has land elevations as high as 2500 meters. The land close to sea-level is shaded in green and the highest points are shaded in white.
